Employees
Many of our clients are employees. We have made the deliberate, conscious choice to act as representatives on the employee as well as the employer side. Activities on behalf of both sides train perceptive faculties and create fundamental understanding for the other side in each case; consulting services lacking these elements may fall short of their goal of being comprehensive.
By their nature, the focus of activities on the employee side tends to be on laws protecting from unfair dismissal and support during the conclusion of employment termination agreements. Disputes about the amount of remuneration, especially in the case of variable remuneration, or other payment claims, disputes about the question of employment in accordance with the contract, the assertion of part-time work claims, or legal problems in the context of a return from parental or nursing care leave force many employees to seek legal counsel.
We are fully conscious of the fact that the pursuit of legal remedies on the part of employees is generally not the consequence of a sober weighing of economic factors, but instead strikes deeply into the self-awareness of the affected employees and leads to emotional turmoil. We want to respect these circumstances appropriately through our understanding, experience, and availability. The feedback from our client encourages us to maintain this position.
Our services include in particular:
- Review of employment contracts
- Representation in proceedings related to unfair dismissal
- Representation in cases of forced relocation
- Assertion of remuneration claims, especially variable remuneration
- Assertion of part-time work claims
- Counseling and support in cases of mobbing
- Assertion of damage compensation claims in cases of violations of the General Equal Treatment Act
