Profile
Born in Köthen in 1977, Dr. Markus Pander studied from 1997-2001 in Halle/Saale, where he also worked as a research assistant in civil law. He received his doctorate in labor and civil law in 2005, with a thesis on the subject of “Liability for Shortage and Distribution of the Burden of Proof”. He has worked as a lawyer since 2006 and joined ZENK in 2009. He became a specialist in labor law in 2012.
Dr. Markus Pander is partner with ZENK.
Dr. Pander has been a visiting lecturer at the Faculty of Law and Economics of the Martin Luther University in Halle-Wittenberg and an examiner for the First State Examination in Law (university segment) in the field of labor law and forensic practice.
His main areas of practice are dismissal protection, the German Works Council Constitution Act and the provision of support and advice for restructuring and classification processes. He also advises on issues of employee data protection.
