Born in Berlin in 1988, Isabell Neumann studied law in Berlin and worked, while studying, at a major international law firm. After her first state examination, Ms. Neumann completed a Master’s degree in Oxford, UK and obtained her Master of Laws (LL.M.) in International Law. As part of her Master’s thesis, Ms. Neumann dealt in depth with the topic of international labour standards in times of globalisation. Ms. Neumann completed her legal clerkship at the Berlin Supreme Court, during which she began working at ZENK for the first time. During her legal clerkship, Ms. Neumann also worked for the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development and an international human rights institute in Vienna, Austria.

Isabell Neumann has been with ZENK since 2019.

Ms. Neumann works interdepartmentally in the field of labour law and public law. In doing so she advises and represents employers and employees in all areas of labour law, as well as in public law, with a focus on public service law and civil service law.
