Erik Christiansen, born in Flensburg, studied law at the University of Hamburg with a focus on public finance and tax law after completing his training as a tax clerk. While studying, he worked as a research assistant at a medium-sized auditing and tax consulting firm. He completed his legal clerkship at the Hanseatic Higher Regional Court in Hamburg including stages at a medium-sized commercial law firm specializing in real estate, the Hamburg tax authority, and a court chamber at the Hamburg Regional Court with special jurisdiction over construction law. In 2020, he passed his second state law examination.

Before joining ZENK, he worked as a lawyer in a Hamburg law firm specializing in construction, architectural, and real estate law since 2020.

Erik Christiansen has been a lawyer at ZENK since April 2025.

Erik Christiansen has expertise in advising on tax law issues and in the area of conflict counseling vis-à-vis tax authorities. He also advises our clients on issues relating to real estate and property law, commercial tenancy law, private construction and architectural law, asset management, and assists them in the judicial and extrajudicial enforcement or defense of claims.
