Irene Schmid is a partner and former notary at ZENK. She primarily advises national and international clients on all aspects of real estate law. She assists private clients, foundations, and nonprofit organizations with succession planning and (international) estate matters, and has many years of experience as an executor.

Irene Schmid, born in Stuttgart in 1956, studied law in Berlin and Cambridge, England, where she earned her Master of Laws in 1984. She has been practicing law since 1988 and brings with her many years of experience from major international law firms. From 1996 to 2026, she served as a notary, and from 2009 to 2012, she was President of the Berlin Bar Association.
