Dr. Lisa Feuerhake

Profile

Dr. Lisa Feuerhake was born in Bremerhaven in 1984. She studied law at the Westphalian Wilhelms University in Münster. At the same time, she completed additional studies in Anglo-American law and worked at the Chair of European Private Law.

After her studies, she wrote her doctoral thesis on “Competition Law and Consumer Protection in England” and spent research semesters at the University of Oxford and the University of Hull as a DAAD scholarship holder. Subsequently, Dr. Feuerhake completed her legal clerkship in Hamburg with stations at the Third Senate of the Hanseatic Higher Regional Court and at an international law firm in Melbourne, Australia, among others.

Dr. Lisa Feuerhake has been an attorney at ZENK since 2015 and focuses on food law and drug advertising law. She advises medium-sized and international clients as well as start-ups on all aspects of labeling, composition and advertising of food, dietary supplements and other consumer products. She assists clients in the market launch and approval of new products as well as in competition law proceedings and disputes with authorities.

In addition to her work as a lawyer, Dr. Feuerhake is co-author of the Food Law Handbook (ed. Streinz/Kraus, Beck-Verlag). She also lectures on various aspects of food law and regularly publishes articles in scientific journals. In the ranking of the most renowned legal advisors by the US publisher Best Lawyers and the Handelsblatt, Lisa Feuerhake was named one of “Germany’s Best Lawyers 2021” in the field of “Intellectual Property Law”.
