Born in Hamburg in 1992, Jan-Christian Schröder studied law in Hamburg and worked alongside his studies in a law firm specilialized in public building law and planning law.
During his clerkship at the Higher Regional Court Celle he began working at ZENK for the first time. Moreover, he spent several months at the Hamburg Ministry for Econonomics and Innovation in the field of environmentally related economic policy. In 2021 he passed his second state licensing examination and has been a lawyer at ZENK since April 2021.
He specializes in advising and assisting on construction projects under public building law. Furthermore he advises the public sector, companies and private property owners on all issues relating to planning law and environmental law.
One focus is on advising project developers and competent licensing authorities during the approval process of infrastructure projects. Finally he examines the public law aspects of due diligence processes in the context of real estate transactions.
